Progressively worse and worse...

Bands change, evolve and do things differently than they did in their early years. This is good or bad depending on the variable changes and the listener. For me, KMFDM has just gotten worse and worse with every new album. I felt it at WWIII and it has gone further downhill since then. I think there is one song on the record I can tolerate. The rest of it didn't even remind me of KMFDM.

Much like ministry, kmfdm seems to be fading. it's sad to see and hear my old favorites going down the crapper.

If you loved Angst or WWIII, then you will also love KUNST. What I've always loved about KMFDM is that whether or not you could argue that their albums sound the same, they still keep it fresh everytime. They can do what they want and get away with whatever they want. Their music and their live shows are timeless. I'd love to see a few remix singles come from this album as well.

The ULTRA HEAVY BEAT is highly resonant on this album, been listening to it since yesterday nonstop I like how they include a virtual booklet in pdf format for extra info, but the only thing I regret from this album is the length, I think it's too short!!! Can't get enough of KMFDM!

Sascha did seem to experiment with the sound a little bit and it makes for an interesting change of pace. Interestingly enough, he did more vocal work this time, even chiming in on tracks with guest stars! I was a little dissapointed about I heart not being included with a different mix, but it sounds really good and fits in with the album just fine. Yet another strong showing.
KMFDM is the drug for you.

After getting an early listen to this album I can safely say, that nothing has changed, just evolved, when it comes to KMFDM and their sound, more commonly known as THE ULTRA HEAVY BEAT, more appropriately. The opening track grabs you by the collar, and delivers a punishing blow, and the rest of the album follows suit, dissecting the very anatomy of the human soul, body, and mind. What we have here is a testament to the perfected formula Käpt'n K and company have brought to the table time and time again. KMFDM Kunst is indeed ART.
