    I'm not surprised at the love/hate 5 or 1 ratings split - there's been so much historically negative press around the whole DK thing, his attitude and perceived arrogance, etc - but I like Jello's records, the collaborations and different styles he's done with various artists comes out in this record - these guys are good musicians. But it's about personal preference - i can see why someone stumbling upon this would find it crappy. I have friends that will dig this, and friends I'd never bother playing it for. This isn't supposed to be super high fidelity, over-produced music. Bare bones is the style, its not a talent problem. His music will always sound DKish in some ways because of his super distinctive voice. The title of the record might not have been the best choice - but you have to admit, love him or hate him, Jello seems to stick to his guns, at least on records - he's always had something to say and he's saying it, and claims not to be deterred by others commentary. Just take it for the music and don't take it personally.

    I am personally happy to hear new material from Jello Biafra. Yeah it sounds like Dead Kennedys, that's because it's Jello!! What were you expecting, Jello sounding like some cheesy jazz singer? For the other old punks on here will know what I mean about the jazz type singing! I love this new album. It's better than the current knock off DK that's touring.

    It's basically just a decibel assault on innocent music enthusiasts. The album comes off as an assault on the senses and intellect. Musical terrorism, I say!

    Too weak for words but I will try nonetheless. To glom onto the tragedy of starvation and efforts to rein in mass murder for the purpose of "art' is lazy. Make an effort to remove the artificial box that encases your soul and then maybe, just maybe you can make music that helps us lesser humans to "think". Until then this is just grey noise.
