Sophisticated

I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!! Very sensual and sexy! I never rate a song but had to rate and comment because it's been so long since I've heard music that i really like these days. Job well done and keep blessing us with good music. By far one of the best I've heard in years. They really need to be playing this on radios and clubs.

John Michael has a great voice and sings with both timid yet open sincerity and emotion. This album showcases his wonderful vocals, though limited in range. Lyrics are clean and soulful as are the beats. What I'd love to hear is JM flex his vocal range. The album, flooded with groove unfortunately leaves JM sounding the same through most the tracks. Good start, but make it great in exploring more than 1-2 octaves. He should let his voice be the instrument it is letting the music blend in and fill around it. Still a great listen, though.

Best album I've heard in years since tyrese

I became a fan of John Michael when I first heard "Sophisticated Lady!" I was hooked by the first few chords, and then his smooth vocals made it a done deal for me. His voice is unique and the songs are very relatable. I know that things are only gonna get better for his musical future!
