George encompasses just about every musical style in his music. He is my reminder, never to be narrow-minded in life. In his travels and music inclusions, he has truly created a sound none can duplicate. My favorite here are Trust, T-Jam and Sausalito.
You can never go wrong with G. Duke. That goes for Whatever style he is playing...Rest in Peace. As usual, job well done!!!
Nice.......but........

Like always, Duke's music is great. But over the last number of years, his piano play has been sloppy at times. He needs to clean it up a little.

If you aren't on your feet, clapping your hands and quickening your pace by the time George gets into "Trust", if your day hasn't suddenly gotten better then there is something very, very wrong with you. This song makes work feel good!! And thats saying something.

The tune "Sausalito" is totally worth 99 cents, especially if you've ever been to this marvelous place.

Lovely! what can be said about George Duke. rom a session player to Frank Zappa's band his solo style, regardless of who he plays with is unmistakable. Buy this song.

I really like this album. The piano is absolutely gorgeous. My FAVE: No One. The whole album is very nice, don't get me wrong - but I would gladly pay 10 bucks for that one song. The vocals are outstanding, and it just makes me want to cry happy tears whenever I hear it - it just touches a part of me that very few songs do. If you like the smoother jazz/contemporary cuts - then you'll really enjoy this album. Five very bright enthusiastic stars all the way.
