An album that defines a singular sound, propels that sound forward and yet delivers an immediate sound that must be captured and heard. What a pop sensation and what pop music should always be striving for. A true masterpiece.

The songs are good, but the production is horribly dated. Every instrument on this album somehow sounds like a synthesizer. Their previous album Shabooh Shabaah didn't have this problem and is much better for it.

I first heard this when I was in college back in 1985/86. My roommate was into them; and immediately I became a fan. All of the songs on this album are very strong, with the band's noted fusion of alternative synths and rock guitars. But the stand out for me is "Johnson's Aeroplane." The strings create a very textured and moody layer to the overall song. It has an erie yet pleasurable quality. This is wonderful album. You won't be disappointed.

INXS has loads of great albums. (Search beyond the simple greatest hits comps) - Listen Like Thieves, Shabooh Shabah, X, etc, But this is my personal favorite. So glad to finally see it on iTunes. Front to back a must-have!
