When they first debuted, I was only a casual fan. Don't get me wrong, they're an awesome group, but their first few releases failed to impact me. On the other hand, I liked their Japanese singles like Be My Shine and DANCE DANCE DANCE more than their Korean songs.
After watching their MV for Obsession, I was stunned that their new concept suited them so well!
At first I thought it was just gonna be another "bad boy concept" attempt just for the sake of following the bad boy trend lately. However, the MV actually made sense and they had a reason to become bad. Their transition into a more mature group was done effortlessly. It wasn't too overwhelming or underwhelming. Just right! Their acting in "Alarm" was done very well, too. Nothing like their old MVs that were almost too sweet, it hurt my eyes (and teeth lol) to watch it.
Over all, the songs are great! Starship made the right move! They finally got me with this album and I've become an official BestFriend! 보이프렌드 fighting!!!
