  • You can feel Shabbat

I can’t always make it to Synagogue on friday evening, but the line up on this album gets me going at home. From “yedid nefesh”, “shiru l'Hashem”, “lecha dodi” which are all chanted and sung at kabbalat shabbat. Ve’shameru is a classic, both during kabbalat shabbat, the amidah and on Sabbat lunch kiddush. Just an amazing album with soft and deep tunes and voices. best purchase in a long time.

Once again Moshav really hit the spot. Taking timeless shabbos classics and adding their original twist to them. I can't wait until vol. 2 comes out

I’ve been listening to Moshav for a very long time and hearing Yehuda in shul is memorizing. This album is one of my favorites. Shabbat Vol I is full of passion with traditional and new takes on familiar classics sung around the table. I don’t have the gift of voice, but this album sets my soul afire!

Moshav’s new album is easily one of my favorite of 2014. It is full of energy and emotion. The lead singer Yehuda’s voice has never sounded better (complimented wonderfully by Duvid Swirsky’s harmonies), while Duvid’s sharpshooter guitar and banjo work is par excellence. The various Shabbat songs are so good. Familiar melodies mixed with funky beats, solid instrumentation, and great vocals. There really is no other band that sounds like Moshav. The icing on the cake is the title “Shabbat Vol. 1”… which suggests there is more to come!
