LET THE JOY RISE! It’s hard to believe it was 15 years ago that this now classic anthem came barreling into our lives and on to our dance floors giving us hope and positivity unlike any anthem of it’s time. So when the opportunity came along to work with long time friend Abigail and newer friends DJ GRIND & Toy Armada, it was a no brainer for the Swishcraft team and to take on this project and breathe new life into it for a new generation.
Produced by Toy Armada & DJ GRIND, and featuring an amazing new vocal by (original vocalist) Abigail, what a way to celebrate the return of this classic anthem, and also celebrate the first official single release for Toy & Grind as a team. This has truly been a joy working with some of the biggest remix producers from around the globe to produce a truly epic Remix EP that spans the genres of circuit, commercial house, tech house, tropical house, tribal and big room anthem. And this is just REMIX EP #1. A second EP in in the works. Official remixers include: Barry Harris (Canada), Rich B (UK) Steve Sherwood & Leo Frappier (US), Matt Consola (US) & Division 4 (Australia), Luque (Spain) & Thiago (Brazil), and Nick Bertossi (Canada).
With a second set of Remixes that include international remix gurus Sven Kirchhof, Andie Roy, The The Monstrates & Matt Consola, House of Labs, Danny Mart and some returning remixes from EP #1, it’s exciting to have the first if these remixes (The Original Toy Armada & DJ GRIND Remix) get a VJ club ready music video. Additional VJ ready video from remixes by Barry Harris, Division 4 7 Matt Consola, Steve Sherwood & Leo Frappier and others are due to be released in June 2015.
