This video provides student insight into what an actual course is like when doing vocational training (VET) during school. It includes information about: how to find out about the course, a typical training day, practical activities and theory components, challenges and how they may have been overcome, impact on SACE, pathways to further education, training and work. General construction students may experience bricklaying, carpentry, plastering, plasterboard fixing and flushing, painting and decorating or plumbing. Plumbing courses provide training into the plumbing industry. Develop practical and problem solving skills in the water resources and management area through a range of tasks using various materials and tools within a project based approach.
