This is an alternative version of DELETED with a slightly longer running time but without the black & white flashback scenes. One of my relatives had a psychological problem a few years ago, which was the inspiration for the story. He had a constant feeling that he had done something terrible and that the police might visit him at any time to arrest him. However, he had no idea what he'd actually done. A hoard of tablets was found in his house which indicated a possible intention to commit suicide. He was temporarily cured by psychiatric treatment (although sometime later he was diagnosed with dementia). In the film, the main role of Dawn is played brilliantly by a young actress named Ocean Hanna, with excellent support from Elizabeth Bloor as her friend Ava, and Eve Holden as a psychiatrist. DAWN is an intense, suspenseful and thought-provoking drama. This film gained a 3-star award at the British International Amateur Film Festival, BIAFF 2013.
