This mystery thriller involves infidelity, blackmail and murder. Derek, a seemingly happily married man, is blackmailed over an alleged extra-marital fling in a hotel. He claims he's never been to the hotel in question... so why does he arrange to meet the blackmailer, agreeing to pay the £50,000 demanded? There's plenty of suspense in the telling of the tale, leading to more than one unexpected twist... and two deaths. This may be the strongest cast I've ever assembled for a film, with a standout performance from Stuart Wishart in the main role of Derek. There are excellent performances also from Martin Salter (a regular performer in Howard-Smith films), Jacqui Ure, newcomer Lisa Gregg, and Simon Hawkins as a very menacing Eastern European blackmailer. Also involved is the legendary Daniel D'Arcy (as DI Richards), who has appeared as an extra in over 600 film and television productions. He was even a stormtrooper in 'The Empire Strikes Back'! This film gained a 5-star award at BIAFF 2016, the British International Amateur Film Festival.
