"The Other Half of the Farm" is a documentary short about John Corn, the owner of a 16-acre farm called Mighty Acorn Farms. John doesn't consider himself a farmer, but a grower and inventor. Given the modest size of his plot and the fact that farming is only a part time endeavor for he and his wife Sandy, John finds building his own farming equipment to be a cost-efficient alternative to expensive commercial equipment.
