The Big East Star Player promo package was designed to harken back to the glory days of the conference without being nostalgic - to show the future of the conference by talking about its up and coming stars. This is a difficult thing to do with college basketball players; they often aren¹t there for the length of the college careers, with some going on to the NBA and some simply not making the cut. We worked with the schools to identify their best prospects, and once we had a comprehensive list those players were brought to New York and we put them in front of the cameras. Each player had a script written for them that not only helped signify their potential as a star player, but reinforced the reputation of The Big East as the conference that plays tough, city basketball.
