In 2012, religious violence targeted the Rohingya. Burmese security forces moved hundreds of thousands of Rohingya to internment camps for their own “safety.” Nearly four years later, more than 140,000 people still live in overcrowded Internally Displaced People camps with little access to food or healthcare. The Rohingya are refugees in their own land. Suu Kyi must grant the Rohingya citizenship.
