We live live in and love Greenville, SC. So when we were approached by Charleston-based StichDesign Co. to produce a commercial spotlighting the city and lifestyle for some new luxury apartments going into the West End, we were more than happy to accept the role of tour-guide. This commercial required a good bit of work up-front: booking talent that was a good representation of the city’s demographics as well as choosing locations ranging from iconic (like Falls Park and Fluor Field, home of our local baseball team, The Drive) to in-the-know local favorites (like the Swamp Rabbit Cafe, White Duck Taco, and Birds Fly South Brewery). But all the leg-work up front made for a seamless, relaxed, fun day of shooting, which was important so that the actors could feel at home and natural. The end result, we believe, was a fun, genuine vibe between the talent that couldn’t be faked otherwise.
