This is by far the most important step and by incorporation I don’t mean business name. I mean limited liability company, especially if you want to operate in the big leagues. When your business is properly incorporated you can now have a seal and a proper current account with your business name. I want to make a point clear here – your domain name doesn’t have to be exactly the same as your CAC name – but they should share similarities. For instance branded.ng was incorporated as Brandedco Limited. When we tried incorporating branded.ng, it wasn’t accepted. You can’t afford to get your domain name wrong but you can get away with it on CAC. You can still take it a bit further and trade mark your logo and domain name as properties of the business.
