This is the first character I worked on when coming to id. While I had never done ai animation before, I understood the basic concept that everything had to cycle, starting and ending in the same pose. Making it all work together was quite a challenge. Also adding to the challenge was the character's size and the fact that he carries a big weapon in an awkward position to his side. I really love this character and am actually a little disappointed he wasn't used more in the game. This is not the complete set, but some of the animations I liked the most. I also suggested doing "rage" animations that carried over to all ai enemies.
