Most Homeless admit to feeling invisible to the people around them when asking for help. It's completely dehumanizing to pretend that another human being doesn't exist. Mia - recently homeless, struggles to survive on the streets. Cruelty, indifference and contempt is all she encounters everyday. Determined to have a day of normalcy she pretends life is good, but soon is brought back to her reality. Steve - has been chronically homeless for years. For him life is a constant hustle. Angry, bitter, distrustful, he’s grown indifferent to the cruelty of others, and view homeless people as competition to grab at anything that looks like an opportunity. One day, after witnessing Mia's humiliation at the hands of a cruel stranger, Steve's anger dissipates in a cloud of dust. Next a flood of pent up emotions comes bubbling up awakening his humaneness; benevolence.
