This film was created in answer to a brief from Stannah Stairlifts for a TV Commercial that would work in all their markets around the world. It had to include humour, and this had to cross borders. There could be no dialogue (to avoid dubbing) and above all the concept of 'the destination rather than the journey' was paramount. Mark Sheldon worked closely with Stannah UK to develop the script, liaising with the various stakeholders all around the world to ensure that the brief was fully satisfied before filming. The film was shot in full HD in a studio close to the Client's head office, and was finished at UNIT in London. The elements were then uploaded to an ftp for each of the markets to access in order to finalise localisations. The TVC launched in the UK shortly before Christmas 2012 and Stannah were able to report an immediate uplift in inquiries coinciding with the air time.
