Amsterdam based film Production Company Topkapi Films asked us to create a new film Ident. Topkapi produces art house films as well as more commercial films for both the Dutch and International market. They love film. In the talks we had with Topkapi that was the thing that immediately stood out, their absolute love and devotion to the medium. We came up with the idea of creating a suspenseful version of the classic flying logo that is all about celebrating film itself; the magic of light, color and sound. The Ident consists of a single shot, filmed at high speed. All the effects were done in camera.
