For this video, as a class we attempted to give a Latin equivalent (or a close approximation) of Macklemore's 'Thriftshop' lyrics which synched-up as much as possible with the original English. In fact, we were able to build a Latin text that in many placed rhymes with the original English text. All 32 students in Latin III were asked to record themselves singing / rapping anywhere from 1-4 lines of the song. We borrowed experienced editors from advanced video productions, and we shot the video in about 2.5 class periods.
