A companion project to Streetcar City, a film by Brad Masi which looks at the history and legacy of Cleveland's streetcar system, The Streetcar Suburb investigates how streetcars shaped the walkable and compact designs of Cleveland's inner-ring suburbs. Comics writer Joyce Brabner reflects on the late Harvey Pekar and how many of his auto-biographical comics stemmed from walking and the random encounters around Coventry Village in Cleveland Heights, a streetcar suburb.
