Eight small guys in front of everyone, <br /> someone has to take a step , <br /> the longest journey starts that way, ... they say, <br /> ... but, what the hell do they know? <br /> <br /> They tried to watch each other's backs, <br /> sometimes that's all they have, <br /> a solitary soldier and a friend in mind, <br /> very, very few of those will ever find a decent end. <br /> <br /> The resemblance is intentional, <br /> but, after that, reality kind - of gets a little murky, <br /> - - - though not all together lost. <br /> <br /> It isn't out of bounds to think that a King <br /> is just a figurehead, <br /> and that the Queen could really be the power, <br /> - - - or that the rulers of the church would stand by them, <br /> - - - in the shadow of their Knights, <br /> - - - or that their Knights would guard their castles. <br /> <br /> It's when the Knights take flight, <br /> and start flying over castles that can move, <br /> - - - that I become a little skeptical ... <br /> - - - that is just the way I am! <br /> - - - not to mention, turning in mid - air ! <br /> <br /> One more complaint to note: <br /> If you are going to fight your wars that way , <br /> - - - certain ground that you must stand on, <br /> - - - how come there are no dragons? <br /> <br /> By the way - - - ...
