A gutsy gust of wind flings open the window ajar
But the door is yet shut tight fearing another scar

The silence of the room is maddening, threatening
Not a dropp of air left to breathe, the heart on the verge of bursting

Just then some fresh air felt is hungrily gulped in
Another small mercy from the most high above who always saves my skin.

The Life sprouting bud breaks the dry caked earth its felt
Some hope is always felt after all everything has to be dealt

She takes a mouthful of life and awakens for the moment
But the very next moment awaits the mercy of the next shipment

Second by second a minute is chipped minute by minute an hour is born
It’s not easy to smile she says but why waste life and mourn

I have to survive she resolutes, I have to live and let go
Cause if I don’t everything will definitely go zero

Expectations anticipation desire induced are all fine to say and feel

But I have ONLY one question does She live or is she indicted to live? ? ? ?

Leonard Rebello

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/only-one-question/
