Don’t utter about your happiness aloud the devil crosses it they say <br /> <br />It doesn’t seem to end now coz the rain outside will never let the sun burn my eyes away <br /> <br />I wanted to swim in the pool of sorrows but was put into a raging river instead <br /> <br />Realty boxed, kicked and left me dead without any bloodshed <br /> <br />Pondering what does growing up really mean <br /> <br />Is it to be pragmatic and end up butchering your tender emotions unclean? <br /> <br />Don’t you smile as if you do it for charity <br /> <br />Don’t open up because you may have to pay for it dearly. <br /> <br />Don’t want to be matured don’t want to grow up <br /> <br />No loosing any more innocence towards the long march to a grownup <br /> <br />Don’t want to be stuffed into the coffin of society <br /> <br />Don’t want all you fools after me like some parasitic wormy <br /> <br />But does anyone have a solution to the eternal ever gnawing problem <br /> <br />How can I persuade people that I have grown up with all the freedom.<br /><br />Leonard Rebello<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/grownup/
