I read my favorite book <br />as the train flies high above where she was lain(in Death) <br />on the river now frozen near the area known as DUMBO <br />down deep below somewhere under the water she remains(in ash) <br />beneath the isle I cherish <br />somewhere out there her spirit flows <br />(in the universe) I feel her energy <br />funny, I'd always wanted her to visit my city <br />it cost less in death by post than on a plane in the living <br />each time i take that train ride over to DUMBO <br />i can be near her (in spirit) <br />while doing my favorite thing.<br /><br />derrick foster<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/strange-passage/
