You got out of bed, <br />opened the curtains to let the sun come through <br />and turned back to me with a smile saying: <br /> <br />“Darling, please write a poem.” <br /> <br />With the rays of sunlight falling over me <br />the words came into my head <br />and I put them to paper <br />to write a poem for you <br />and I thought about all of the poems <br />that you have written just for me <br /> <br />and the world around us <br />became a beautiful place <br />and I am infatuated <br />as I know that you do love me <br /> <br />and I thought about your poems <br />and I see your heart in them <br />and I am caught up in the words <br />on the paper <br />that was written just for me <br /> <br />and I am enchanted by you, my word wizard <br /> <br />and right here I am trying <br />to describe the way that you make me feel <br /> <br />and you are my sun and my sunbeam <br />that breaks through the darkness of my life, <br />you are my reason for living <br />and my heart still stops <br />when I see your naked body <br />but you are much more <br />than just a physical attraction. <br /> <br />You are my soul-mate, <br />my inspiration <br />and like my garden <br />I was once a barren land <br /> <br />but with care and all of your love <br />you did plant lovely flowers in me <br />and I did transform <br />into a paradise just for you.<br /><br />Daleen Enslinstrydom<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/my-word-wizard/
