Surrounded by my fears, my anger and my sorrow, <br />The night drags along keeping clear of tomorrow, <br />The thoughts of death are nothing new, <br />The damage and hate that I long to hold on to. <br />Without them I don’t know who I am, <br />Only loneliness I can understand. <br />I know who I am now, and no time can pass <br />As I suffocate myself with all of my past. <br />Things are not clear, nothing seems right, <br />As I hold myself down, I can no longer fight. <br />I don’t want to be, or exist anymore <br />I don’t want to accept anything that life has in store <br />I want to forget, and I want you to forget too <br />That I was ever here, that I never met you. <br />I will not leave a footprint or shadow behind, <br />I will never be remembered, I’ll be forgotten in time. <br />Not a memory of me, jus a gap where I was, <br />Filled with sorrows, hate and dust. <br />don’t feel for me now, as you never did before, <br />I refuse to be a memory of someone you’ve known. <br />I will leave not a trace of this life behind <br />I will leave not the sorrow that lives in my mind <br />I will go to a place, where nothing exists <br />I will leave my body through the veins in my wrists. <br />This night will never end, it will stay still with my sorrow, <br />As my time has now ended, there is no tomorrow.<br /><br />lindsey ashton<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/no-tomorrow-3/
