This week in DVB Debate, the studio asks “How lawful is the riot control practiced by the police?”<br />All the panel agreed that the way used by the government to control the students protest was unlawful. However, the spokeperson of the President claimed that the action was lawful. <br />in Latpadan were brutally cracked down by the police forces. And many of them were arrested.<br />The law that the government refers to is the Article 127 and 128 of criminal procedures which was dated back more than 100 years ago under the British colonial time.<br />DVB debate invited the government officials to be in the panel, but they didn’t join
