<p>A holiday celebration in Midtown Detroit was cancelled on December 2 following gunshots that struck and wounded three teenagers during the festivities.</p><p>Three people were shot outside the back entrance of the Detroit Institute of Arts around 7:30pm. All three suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to hospital, The Detroit News reported</a>. The victims were aged 14-17, according to WXYZ</a>.</p><p>The incident led to the Noel Night festivities being cancelled, the evacuation of the Detroit Institute of Arts building and nearby buildings</a>, and a lockdown notice for Wayne State University</a>.
