Ingredients:<br /><br />1.chana dal - 2 cups<br />2.green chilli - 4<br />3.ginger - 1 inch<br />4.salt to tast<br />5.red chilli powder - 3 tbsp<br />6.black salt - 1 tbsp<br />7.turmeric powder - 1 tbsp<br />8.black powder - 3 tbsp<br />4.roasted cumin seeds powder - 3 tbsp<br />5.curd - 1 cup<br />6.eno - 1/2 tbsp<br />7.water as required<br />8.oil as required<br />9.sev for garnish<br /><br />*Recipe for locho masala.<br /><br />-take a red chilli powder in a bowl.<br />-add black papper powder,black salt or whaite salt, & roasted cumin seeds powder.<br />-mix the all ingredients.<br />-locho masala is ready.<br /><br />*Locho Recipe:<br /><br />-firstly soak chana dal to overnight.<br />-take mixing jar.<br />-coarsely grind soacked chana dal,green chilli & ginger.<br />-take water as per requirement. <br />-take out grind lentil in a big bowl.<br />-now adding curd, salt & turmeric powder.<br />-keep aside to 10 to 15 mints.<br />-after 10-15 mints, adding eno.<br />-steam take any steamer or any utensil in which other utensil can be placed.<br />-Take 2 cup water in big utensil and place it on flame for heating.<br />-Place a wire stand in it for keeping other utensil on it.<br />-Grease the container with oil to be used for making surti locho.<br />-pour the batter in container.<br />-When water and steam starts forming, place the batter filled utensil on the wire stand.<br />-cover it and cook locho for 15 mints.<br />-after 15 mints, check it with knife.<br />-if batter does not stick to knife then locho is to eat.<br />-take out in a plat.<br />-sprinkle locho masala & oil or butter.<br />-also spread cheese.<br />-garnish with sev.<br />-serve with onion & green chutney.<br />
