<br /> According to Reuters, stocks around the world were trading slightly higher on August 3rd.<br />MSCI’s global gauge of stocks gained three-tenths of a percent on the day, while Europe's FTSEurofirst 300 index rose seven-tenths of a percent.<br />For the New York Stock Exchange, the top trading indexes ended a turbulent week slightly up, or about flat.<br />Although the Dow Jones Industrial Average added over 138-points on the day, it was flat for the week. <br />
