Former Richmond AFL player Shane Tuck dies aged 38<br />Tuck played 173 senior matches for Tigers between 2004 and 2013.<br /><br />He belonged to a famous AFL family, his father Michael won seven premiums, the legend of the Hawthorn Football Club and four captains.<br /><br />He played for his brother Travis de Hawks and was the cousin of Geelong superstar Gary Ablett Junior and nephew of Cats' great Gary Ablett Senior.<br /><br />Richmond CEO Brendon Gale paid tribute to Tuck, who died this morning.<br /><br />"The news that Shane has passed upset us very much, he will be missed by everyone," Gale said in a statement.<br /><br />"We send his deepest condolences to Shane's family and loved ones - his wife Kat, their children Will and Ava, their parents Michael and Fay, and the extended Tuck family.<br /><br />"Shane was a fighter on the field, giving everything to the team every week, and a humble, fun-loving person from the field."
