모리셔스 '기름 유출' 일본 화물선 선장 체포<br /><br />Mauritius has arrested the captain of a Japanese cargo ship that caused devastating oil spill after it ran aground off its coast late July.<br />The 58-year-old Indian man was charged with endangering safe navigation.<br />He's reportedly in custody pending a bail hearing next week.<br />Mauritius says it will seek compensation from both the owner of the ship and the insurer.<br />The island nation had declared a "state of environmental emergency" after the incident, and the owner of the carrier, Nagashiki Shipping, has pledged to respond to compensation requests.<br /><br />
