Trinidad and Tobago has stepped up its screening and preparedness measures for the new strain of the Monkey Pox Virus, according to Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh.<br /><br />It comes days after the WHO declared MPox a public health emergency of international concern.<br /><br />Speaking to reporters at the Ministry’s head officer this morning, Minister Deyalsingh called on citizens to be vigilant about symptoms and take necessary preventative measures.
