Look at how the onions look. They are caramelized with the brown sugar and water along with the Balsamic Viagarette which is now like a syrup covering the onions. They smell good also. When I would buy hot dogs at this particular vendor when I would go downtown in the town I live in, I would ask for caramelized onions. Mine taste just as good as the vendor's caramelized onions. So once I learned how to make them. I have been making them every since. Good on hot dogs. Probably good on hamburgers also.
