CAIR, the largest Muslim advocacy group in the US, has been accused by four members of congress of "trying to infiltrate the government".<br /><br />They say the group attempts to place interns in key government offices with the hope of influencing US policy.<br /><br />The accusations have upset both the advocacy group and some Democrats, who called it a "witch hunt."<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Patty Culhane reports.
