The app did not recognize any of my mushrooms and I am not able to contact the company to get a refund because my subscription expired and I canceled it however I still have access to the app and I did not want to pay for the subscription so doesn’t expire until next year I didn’t even want it because it doesn’t even work and now there’s no way to contact them reimburse me

I had a budding interest in mycology. After finding this app, I’ve been able to identify mushrooms to a degree and then further cement my ID using things like spore prints and sharing with others. What an amazing resource!

The mushroom I wanted to identify is only found in Western Europe. Problem is, my mushroom was found in the US PNW.

Downloaded this app and before I was able to delete it I was charge $29.99 they give you a subscription window and then tell you later you need to delete a day before your free version is over. There is absolutely no way to contact anyone regarding the app making customer support services impossible. The app is canceled but I’m stuck paying $29.99 for a year of not using the app. Don’t download this app if you’re not sure you want to keep it.

i understand we all have to deal with capitalism, but come on, make payment optional for people who want to support a good product. Otherwise, you turn away potential users

Anyone who regularly photographs fungi should purchase this app. It has the most accuracy but you do need to use clear photos and submit top and bottom of fungi if it has a bottom side. It’s been well worth it and I like to see My History of what I’ve taken. I’ve also enjoyed learning about ones that I’ve captured.

fun to explore and identify

This tool makes a great effort to identify fungi but seems to guess things that don’t seem right. I would prefer no definitive result versus a guess. It should ask for clarifying photos of specific anatomy when uncertain.
