Tasks App by DoorDash

Downloaded app and was doing good and made some money for 2 weeks. I was waiting for app to give me more tasks to perform, but for unknown reason(s) I can no longer log into my account. I am very unhappy

Horrible cannot get past the welcome check camera task it sees my hands and then when it switches to recording it never once detects my hands. Completely frustrating and horrible!!!!!! I really wanted this to work. I’m angry

The test where it asks you to show your hands while you are washing the dishes isn’t working at all it doesn’t matter how much I show the hands it keeps on saying i am not showing them, I hope that DoorDash can see this and fix this issue

This worked out for only a week then they reduce the amount of tasks that I had available to me. Finally after four weeks, the app is no longer working and it continuously says, “hands out of view” even though my hands are in the view of the recording. I attempted to contact their customer support, but the number is provided took me to Blue Cross Blue Shield and then some weird wiki company so no customer support. I submitted two recordings today exactly 2 minutes ago so if the app creator really cares about it, they’ll fix it.

Took all my tasks away for weeks and as someone who had a 99% approval rate and thousands of minutes of tasks submitted I figured I’d be treated a little better, however when i finally got some tasks to do they were all narration, which ok I’ll do, the problem is narration tasks always claim to not be able to see my hands at all, regular tasks work perfectly but all narration tasks are broken it seems, literal 0% hands shown in every video, very annoying, so I worked for free, and sent in multiple emails and I have heard NOTHING, not to mention they cut the video time limits down to 10 minutes which is not really enough to do some complex tasks, so essentially I’ll get a 1/4th through a project for them, run out of time 3 times, then the task is taken away from me, absolutely trash now, and I used to LOVE this app.

It’s been over three weeks now that we haven’t seen no new task. Is this app going to put up more task or this was just one time thing has high reviews for something that stopped working weeks ago for everyone no new task no new assignments no new anything

I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and for some reason the app does not detect my hands after it starts recording. Kind of very frustrating, but can’t even get past the second task to check the camera and my camera is centered on a chest mount with my hands centered trying to take on a task washing dishes
