    Eight books is a lot. Many might be daunted by that, but there are so many wonderful characters, twists, turns and action that I had a difficult time putting the books down. I thoroughly enjoyed every page! Well worth my time and a story I will long remember.

    it’s been over 6 years since i picked up a book just for the love of reading. i fell into a reading rut when depression creeped up on me and haven’t been able to rekindle that flame of passion for reading since, but this series changed everything for me. i was gifted the first book in the series as a part of a book exchange many years ago and it sat on my bookshelf for a long while before a spark reignited in me a few months ago. i picked up the book, the first in several years, having no idea what to expect and began to read. i fell in love with the characters, and saw myself in Aelin and her struggles and triumphs throughout the series. i cried through the last few books, the losses and the victories. i finished all 8 books in 3 months after not being able to pick up a book in years. thank you sarah j. mass for writing such a fantastic and enthralling series, one that i will remember for the rest of my life. this series gave me hope for my own future, my light at the end of the tunnel, and for that i am so incredible grateful. i can’t wait to continue reading all of the dusty books on my bookshelf. thank you again ❤️

    I really liked this series but this final novel was too long. The battle scenes were endless so I’d find myself flipping through the flowery language to get to the heart of the story.

    Man, what I would give to read this series for the first time again 😭🥹 This is by far the best book series I’ve ever read. I feel so sad that it’s over. Sarah J Maas is brilliant. She created such an amazing, complex world full of so many incredible characters. I’ll be re-reading all of these books again in no time.
