This compilation includes early automobile sales advertisements from 1910s and 1920s newspapers, combined with historic factory and manufacturing photographs. It also contains the following film shorts totaling over 80 minutes in length:
1. The American Road (1953; Public Domain) - An overview of Henry Ford's invention of the quadracycle, to the birth of the assembly line, to the impact it had on the American way of life. A very educational film.
2. Highland Park Ford Plant (No Date; Silent; Public Domain)
3. The Harvest Of The Years (1937; Public Domain) - This films shows mass production of Ford cars in an assembly line; the research necessary to carry on the work; and materials that go into the making of the Ford.
and
4. Trader Thorne (1956; Public Domain) - A Ford Motor Company auto dealer sales training film explaining why trade-ins are necessary -- because almost all customers already have cars.
