I get it, but I don't love it

I've been a Blue fan since their first album. I get where Justin's life is going and the change in music is a part of that. But this album, lyrically, just isn't good. His lyrics are far more simplistic, there's no violin on the album which totally bums me out, and less rock... More ambient, background melodies. "heart go bang?" Really? I'm still going to pay money for this album because I love the band and I want them to continue their success, and to get paid for it. Looking forward to their next album this June. For today, going back to listen to Sway. That album was f**cking candy.

I love most every other Blue October album, but this one is tough to take in. I have even tried waiting a month in between listening and it still isn't good.

brought some life back into a PTSD Army Vet Soldier Retired. Fear and Home are so touchy. Thes rest I loved as well. I have every album beginning with Hurt. 1,000,000,000 out 0f 5 Stars* for all Blue Oct sound, music, lyics, rythem...everything so right so much emotion and life within each song each album, God Bless them and thier families

Big a fan as they come. Since before first album. Have lyrics tattooed on me. They're my favorite band by far. This is bad. I tried. That's why I waited to rate. Over produced. Weak lyrics. Strained vocals. NO FIDDLE. Essentially, nothing I've loved for 20 years. I'll never give up on my guys, but I also won't waste time listening to this much more.
