This and "Young Mod's Forgotten Story" are in constant rotation at my place. Curtis blends his socially conscious poetry (spreading a message that still resonates today) with lush chord changes and ambitious arrangements. Needless to day, his voice will break your heart- he was a national treasure in that department. Check out the electric harpsichord bit on "Love's Happening" or the horns and strings on "They Don't Know". "I'm Loving Nothing" is classic Impressions vocal interplay. These two albums will be the best 9 bucks you ever spent and up 'til now, these tracks have been hard to find.
