    I absolutely love this film genre. The soundtracks that go with these films are just as important as the stars that played the lead roles. The studios were smart enough to recognize the value of allowing the best and brightest names in soul music to provide the entire soundtrack, Willie Hutch with The Mack, Roy Ayers with Coffy, and Rose Royce with Car Wash and so on. This LP is just another example of how funky it can get when the vibe is unrestricted. It just sounds like the 70's.
