Been a Khemmis fan since they first showed up on iTunes a few years back, they are an animal all their own. Love this band (nice guys, too), love their music. Desolation is little more melodic than I was expecting, but the riffs are wicked and the vocals are fierce. Really like the fact that Khemmis' isn't married to a sub-genre and that these guys want their own sound. They are succeeding nicely. \m/

This is a bit different than their previous two releases and just as good, if not better. I love metal guitar riffs and this album is laden with them on every song. This is my favorite new band by a mile.
