How dare you say such a thing to such a great man? Rest in Piss are you KIDDING ME? This is art. You clearly do not know what real music is. This is a masterpiece in music.

Listening this album again after 20 years, I found it beautiful and touching. Ono's "Give me Something" remains me some of the Klaus Nomi's songs. Truly avant and and subtle at the same time. Somehow theatrical. A love testament, a dialogue. Not for everyone.

Compared to the crap that’s being touted as “music”, you people wouldn’t know what True lyrics and clean sound would be if it bit you.

These are really John Lennon’s best solo songs. There is some happiness in his songs that were missing in his other solo albums. Yoko was not in John’s league as only a few ever were.

These are largely throw away songs. John was comfortable in his own skin here, writing from the heart. However the tunes just don’t have any lift. Other than Beautiful Boy, these cuts wouldn’t see the light of day on Let It Be or the White album. If John had some better melodies, or Paul, this might have been remembered more as a good record rather than remembered as simply his last record.
