I was checking out some old Fogelberg to add to my I-Tunes, since all I had back in the day were records and Karla popped up as a suggestion. WOW and Thank you!! I first discovered her when I saw she had written 3 or so songs of Linda Ronstadt's back in the 70s' and I bought her first record sight unseen. I absolutely loved it and proceeded to wear it out. Ended up buying another to replace it. It was such a pleasure to hear her music again. Thanks again for the suggestion! I had to buy 4-5 songs I could no longer live without.

Always loved her. From the first notes. Her melancholy, her melody, her introspective heart of gold. Tremendous production and such beautiful songs. How she did not prosper more, I'm puzzled, except to think she was always too shy, not ambitious enough, avoided the spotlight, was not comfortable with stardom, and so she stayed a bit of a recluse. Probably what I would have and done and why I adored her. Her work, later on, with Bryndle - also fantastic; not to be missed.

Were when I found Karla Bonoff. I know every word of every song. Passionate voice. Writer behind Linda Ronstadt. I am so proud to have her music back in my life. Fantastic voyage. - Becky

This album was the best of the seventies. Karla Bonoff has such a great voice. I believe she wrote all the songs on this album. She is such an artist.

Out of the stacks of old vinyl records stored for decades in my art studio, this was the one album repeatedly played as I was assembling a career as a oil painter. Unmistakable subtleties reveal authentic experience in these songs. Bonoff's lyrics are just the tip of the tip of the iceberg. My turntable is long deceased but this piece of music will live on and on. I downloaded the iTunes version and opened up years of forgotten emotions. It's alleged that Karla has moved away from music out of pressure from the record label to produce. That makes sense. You cannot push fine art.
