i was looking for a chanting album that was different...something that i could listen to in the car, the gym, that could invigorate me, but not make me feel like i am in a new age store or something...this is special. they play this in my yoga classes and it is literally energizing. David Newman's voice is moving and deep. He is meant for this genre.

It's all about the chanting experience - very blissfull, full of bhakti - not frilly or performance geared. So if you REALLY want to chant, and be absorbed in the Names of God, this is a great one to chant with.
