The Blumine Andante is included as a small piece, afterwards, kind of like an encore. It's not included in the symphony, and anyone who can read can tell that that's not included as part of the symphony, but as an aftermath. Zinman's interpretation is incredible and the Tonhalle Orchester Zürich performs fabulously. So buy the album. You'll love it. And know that the Blumine doesn't need to be played with the symphony, so he's not just playing it to be different, and if you wanted to add it in, it would go in between the first and second movements.

Mahler wrote and then removed the "Blumine" movement from the First Symphony as he revised it. It's a lovely movement that not many people are familiar with.
