I Love Jenny Owen Youngs. The first song I heard from her was F**k Was I and I have to say that it is one of my top songs of all time. I absolutely love it. It has a message, cursing, and feeling, all in one. That song alone makes for a great EP. But on top of it, Hot in Herre and Voice on Tape are on here. Hot in Herre is just one of the funnest things I've ever listened to. But Voice on Tape always makes me think. She makes lovely music. But interesting too. And So in your face.

Awesome little piece of music. The live version of "From Here" is truly a credit to her ability to perform live. With out the additional instruments that are on the album, Youngs still makes the song move like a moving shopping cart you just jumped into in an empty parking lot.

Jenny Owen Youngs is great. She has a sense of humor (hot in herre) and the mixes on this ep are awesome too. Great choice if you are like Jenny and are looking for something with a twist. EP has a nice range of jenny's talents.

If you haven't heard "F**k Was I" yet, it's about time. Chances are it won't leave your player for days. Same goes for "Hot in Herre," one of the greatest covers I've ever heard. It's fun, silly and simply perfect. Reminds me of when Travis covered "Oops I Did It Again" or when Ted Leo covered "Since You Been Gone" & "Maps" - only better. If you don't buy this EP, buy Jenny's debut album "Batten the Hatches;" "Voice on Tape" is priceless. And if that's still not enough, you should check out "Transmitter Failure" by The Robot Explosion on MySpace. Great, great stuff. Cheers*
